Construction of our Retreat Institute has been ongoing for a year. We are now making use of the Corona crisis to fully concentrate inwardly to expedite the completion whilst Chöje Lama Palmo’s focus clearly is to stabilize her health. Needless to say, the crisis hits us really hard! Please help us complete the retreat institute!

Starting August 9, 13:30 hrs CET, Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, following the requests by many Palpung and other centers, will once a month teach online for 6 months. Mingyur Rinpoche will teach once, too.

Just like every year, our Ora et labora summer retreat will take place July 11 – 19, 2020 in our currently under construction retreat institute on its premises, of course in accordance with Corona rules. Day of arrival is the afternoon of July 10. We will practice together mornings and evenings and work on several small projects in and around our house during the day. Accommodation on our premises is exclusively in your own tents to be brought along, on a therefore designated meadow. Should you not want to sleep in tents, you are free to organise lodging nearby – need help, contact us! Kindly register until June 15 at the latest, bindingly. As for contributions and other questions, please contact us. Kids and families, as usual, enjoy reductions.
Guru Vajradhara bestowed on us a blessing video on Covid-19 during this difficult time. We, too, following the order given by the Federal Chancellery of the Replublic of Austria for officially recognised religions, are not allowed to host any program in our temples.
Please stay at home and continue practicing for all sentient beings.

The construction of our retreat institute continues. The shell is up, now electricity, fittings and the dry walling is happening. Our new shrine room (see picture above) is slowly taking shape.

Our Guru Vajradhara will be 66 years old, 67 respectively in the Tibetan way of counting. We will be celebrating our Guru’s birthday in our City Institute Purkersdorf March 1, starting at 11:00 hrs and are looking forward to your coming!

Discovering the Buddha Within is a new learning program of the Buddha Dharma created by His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. Guru Vajradhara feels it’s time to install and transmit a well-designed curriculum with teachings and instructions step by step from the three Yanas to ensure a sound foundation of Buddha Dharma knowledge which can lead to a meaningful and fruitful study and practice according to the lineage which will be taught by our Palpung Tulkus, Khenpos and Lamas.
