(You may also attend the ceremony. <a href=\"\/en\/contact\"><strong>Contact the office<\/strong><\/a> should you wish to be physically present.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\"><a href=\"\/en\/support\/donations\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/donate-paypal-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"71\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The tradition to raise prayer flags has a long tradition and can be traced back to <b>Atisa <\/b>who taught the Tibetans to print prayers on cloth and to hang them into the wind. The flags contain various sutras, prayers, mantras, powerful symbols and particular colors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">To raise prayer flags is a wonderful method to carry all the blessing of mantras and prayers throughout all directions with the power of the wind, as far as the wind can carry them.
