Gyalwang Karmapa supervised these meetings and laid down the program personally. Kagyu M\u00f6nlam took place not only at the <strong>seat of the Karmapa, Tsurphu<\/strong> but moved from place to place in a big tent and hence was practiced at different times and different places.<\/p>\n<p><b>Kagyu M\u00f6nlam Chenmo in India<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In <strong>1983<\/strong>, the previous Kalu Rinpoche revitalised Kagyu M\u00f6nlam and started to hold it in Bodhgaya, the holy place where Lord Buddha had attained enlightenment. The gathering&nbsp; practiced 100.000 repetitions of Zangch\u00f6 M\u00f6nlam and so Kagyu M\u00f6nlam was established in India.
