H. Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Since then we have been striving to set up a spiritual home for all those who feel connected to our lineage and who would like to meditate and practice in order to follow our great enlightened masters&#8217;s example such as Marpa Lotsawa, Milarepa, Je Gampopa and the successive incarnations of <a href=\"\/en\/about-us\/lineage\/vajrayana\/karma-kagyu\/gyalwang-karmapa\/\"><strong>H. H. Karmapa<\/strong><\/a> and Guru Vajradhara H. H. Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa.<\/p>\n<p>After having completed the traditional three years&#8217;s retreat in <strong>2004<\/strong> Guru Vajradhara H. H. Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa sent <a href=\"\/en\/about-us\/choeje-lama-palmo\/\"><strong>Ch\u00f6je Lama Palmo<\/strong><\/a> to Japan and afterwards, following requests from practitioners, to Austria to start her activities there.<\/p>\n<p>In the course of her stay in her mother monastery Palpung Sherab Ling in India, <strong>March 2005<\/strong> Lama Palmo met Guru Vajradhara H. H. Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa a couple of times during audiences when plans for a center in Austria were precisely talked through.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-25367 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/paleu-dalai-lama-2009-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/paleu-dalai-lama-2009-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/paleu-dalai-lama-2009.jpg 597w, https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/paleu-dalai-lama-2009-450x302.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><strong>March 8,<\/strong> <strong>2006<\/strong> Lama Palmo <a href=\"\/en\/mediacenter\/photos\/2006-2\/lp-dalai-lama\/\"><strong>met H. H. The 14th Dalai Lama<\/strong><\/a> in a private audience in Dharamsala during which she introduced His Holiness to the project, requesting his blessing. His Holiness bestowed advice, his blessing and presented Lama Palmo with a big statue of Buddha Shakyamuni at the end of the audience &#8220;for your institution&#8221;. Further she met <strong>H. H. Gyalwang Karmapa<\/strong> in a private audience the very same day and His Holiness as well bestowed\u00a0 his blessing and encouragement for the undertaking.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-25156\" src=\"https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Ch\u00f6je-Lama-1-283x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"283\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Ch\u00f6je-Lama-1-283x400.jpg 283w, https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Ch\u00f6je-Lama-1-141x200.jpg 141w, https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Ch\u00f6je-Lama-1-353x500.jpg 353w, https:\/\/www.palpung.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Ch\u00f6je-Lama-1.jpg 424w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 283px) 100vw, 283px\" \/>In <strong>2007<\/strong>, the name for Lama Palmo&#8217;s activities was changed to <a href=\"\/en\/about-us\/\"><strong>Palpung Yeshe Ch\u00f6khor Ling Europe<\/strong><\/a> by Guru Vajradhara, plans and Lama Palmo&#8217;s responsibilities newly talked through. Rinpoche appointed her teacher in residence.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>2010<\/strong>, the completely run down house in <a href=\"\/en\/visit\/our-institutes\/purkersdorf\/\"><strong>Purkersdorf<\/strong> <\/a>could be purchased which then was planned through, changed, adapted and renovated by Lama Palmo together with her students.<\/p>\n<p>November 22, <strong>2013<\/strong>, Lama Palmo was appointed <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/appointment_en.pdf?iframe=true\"><strong>Ch\u00f6je Lama<\/strong><\/a> by Chamgon Dorje Chang Tai Situ Rinpoche.
