Leave a legacy

You can leave a legacy to Palpung Yeshe Chökhor Ling in your Will. Legacies are important sources of income for some charities, and a legacy may help to establish the dharma in Austria and the whole world. It is relatively simple to draft a Will or add an addendum to an existing Will, and by consulting a solicitor you can make sure your estate or part of it is inherited by the beneficiaries of your choice.

Palpung Yeshe Chökhor Ling is a non-profit society. Therefore your gift would not be subject to Inheritance Tax or Capital Gains Tax. You can leave a fixed sum of money (pecuniary legacy), a percentage of the remainder of your estate after other bequests have been made (residual gift), a particular item of value, a conditional bequest, or a revisionary bequest. A solicitor will advise you how to proceed.
