A Lamp Aspiration
Dharmakaya, unchanging unity of appearance and emptiness,
Vast expanse of youthful, great bliss,
Sky of spontaneously present joy free of defilement,
bestow a feat of unchanging goodness upon us.
Through the seeds of inherently pure virtue
that arise from even a bit of glorious goodness,
and the bright smile of virtue revealed
by offering the light of these lamps to the three jewels,
May the well-being of a golden age arise
in this realm of the thousand-petalled lotus.
May this time of warfare and disputation be pacified.
May auspicious excellence, prosperity and goodness flourish.
Especially, throughout the land of America,
may the youthful lotus of teaching and practice bloom.
May innumerable oceans of realms be filled
with the melodious roar of the profound secret.

Gyalwang Karmapa
- Gyalwang Karmapa
H. H. Karmapa is the master of enlightened activity as karma (sanskrit) means activity. He hence accomplishes the activity of all the buddha. H. H. was prophecied in many sutras and tantras. Before emanating in the form of Karmapa he appeared as countless other incarnations.
Dusum Khyenpa, the first Karmapa, was the one who introduced and systematized the system of conscious reincarnation to Tibet. Karmapa is the Supreme Head of the entire Kagyu lineage and as considered the emanation of great bodhisattva Chenrazig as H. H. Dalai Lama. But different to H. H. Dalai Lama, Karmapa has never been officially connected with the central government.
As Kagyu, also known as the lineage of practice, and all those meditating within Kagyu see their task in practicing all the teachings which are passed down from master to disciple exclusively orally, to complete maturity.
